What To Expect

We aren’t about perfection or professionalism; we’re all learning together. You won’t be pressured to share your life story or donate. Instead, you’ll hear the Scriptures preached, enjoy old-fashioned hymns, and experience a Christ-centered, welcoming environment.

Ministries

Here at Faith Baptist Church we have something for everyone. From newborns to seniors you will find people going through the same life journey as you.

Nursery

The nursery is a much needed and appreciated ministry, our staff of ladies provide nursery for every service,  ages 0-3.

Sunday School

Every Sunday morning at 10 all ages gather in their respective classes to hear a teaching lesson from the Scriptures.    There is no membership required to attend our classes,  everyone is welcome.

Children’s Ministry

Children are a gift from the LORD and dear to the hearts of their parents.  They are the future of our nation and the future of the church.  We have a committed teaching staff that loves to impart biblical truths on Sunday Mornings to nurture them.  The church does not replace the home or the parents but reinforces what godly parents teach in the home.

Preaching

The preaching of the Scriptures is vital to the salvation of a sinner and the growth of a saint.   Without preaching the world will remain in ignorance of God’s love toward sinners – God chose the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. The message of salvation/the gospel is still the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes.   Without preaching the saints will wander.   Preaching the promises of God give people the opportunity to have a hope and joy-filled life.

Music

We believe that music is powerful and has a moral bias.   Therefore Church music should be bent to glorify God.   By our singing,  every person in attendance is involved in ministering to one another and worshiping God through songs and hymns and spiritual songs,  singing and making melody to the Lord.  We recognize that Jesus is our Audience.

One on One Discipleship

Jesus commanded us to go into the world and make disciples.  That is not only leading people to a saving knowledge of Jesus but continuing to meet with them to establish them in the faith in their homes,  if they will devote their time to it.     If someone is willing and interested,  the pastor will visit at scheduled meeting times in a more personal setting.

The Great Commision

We are committed to fulfilling the command of Jesus to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.  We cant all travel around the world so we support ministries throughout the world and in our own country through preaching and soul-winning and church planting and ministry helps.   We currently support 30 ministries and preachers around the globe.

Meet Our Pastor

Jason was born and reared in Oklahoma. He lived a life of sin until God revealed to him that he was a sinner on September 7th 2003. It was on that day he called upon the Lord for salvation.

From 2003 to 2006, he attended a ministry in Eufaula Oklahoma to build his faith and establish some structure in his life. It was there that he recognized God’s call on his life to preach the gospel. From 2006-2009 he attended Heartland Baptist Bible College and Southwest Baptist Church in OKC to further his training.

After graduation, he served in Mineral Wells TX as youth pastor/assistant pastor at Gospel Light Baptist Church. He answered God’s call to pastor Faith Baptist in Attica in 2013.

During his time in college, he met and married a native of Attica Kansas, who had been a member at Faith Baptist Church in Attica. They currently have eight children.

“Although I fail often, my primary goal is to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Getting to know Him is the most rewarding journey I have taken. If I love Him with all my heart and continue to be patient, and strive to do his will, he will teach me to be a loving husband to my wife, an honorable father to my children, a profitable citizen in the community, and a compassionate friend to my neighbor.”
